William Skirmish was one of the victims of Henry Pyke's malice. He got his head beaten off in front of St Paul's Church, by Brandon Coopertown under the influence by Pyke. His body was found by a street performer named Martin Turner.

He was the original owner of Toby the dog. He was a media type living in Highgate. He was also gay.[1]

The name Skirmish is somewhat similar to the name Scaramouche (the name comes from scaramuccia which actually means the little skirmisher in italian), a character in The Tragical Comedy, or Comical Tragedy, of Punch and Judy who's fate is similar to that of William Skirmish.[2]
